The Hermann Cain Mystery
It is my recent opinion that Hermann Cain appeals more to the Conservative Republicans and Independents than Mitt Romney, or Rick Perry. It was my former and present opinion that this election will be about extremes. Romney is too moderate to carry the explosive Conservative parties. Obama is too socialist to carry the Conservative Democrats. It’s going to be one or the other, Socialism , or Conservatism. It will take an extreme turn to the right to undo the mess that Obama has gotten us into. Mitt is too mild and too nice to do that. Perry has put his foot in it with illegals and mandated injections. The rest of the field is unelectable. Except for one man, a rich, self made man, never been elected to any office, a fresh face, a bass singing voice, and a charismatic personality, and I refer of course to the Pizza Man. How do you account for this man’s meteoric rise, whose campaign committee consists of three people, and few bucks, compared to the billion dollar campaign of Obama. It is my humble opinion that the only Republican that can beat him in the primaries is himself. To speak to him and listen to him is to love him immediately. He is a peoples candidate, not a political machine. Unless he makes a stupid mistake in the next few months, as Perry did, and Newt, etc. etc. he is bound to give Mitt and the Washington crowd, nothing but headaches. I intend to support him in the primaries. I’ll even buy his pizza.
Candidates
It was an unexpected pleasure to see and hear 5 Presidential speakers in the House of Representatives on Weds., Oct. 12th. Here is a brief summary of my impressions of each candidate. #1 xGov. Johnson, New Mexico. ” I have gone all over NH on my bicycle campaigning. I am a different type of candidate.” Yes, you are sir. #2. x-Penn. Senator Rick Santorum. Excellent speaker. ” We need a President who believes in YOU, ( the people) not the Government.” #3.Newt Gingrich, former Speaker US House of Representatives. Smartest speaker of the bunch , but unelectable because of personal baggage ” I believe strongly in the 10th amendment,…return power to the people back home.” ( the States) ” This is the most important election since 1860. ( Lincoln. Save the Union. Free the slaves.) #4.Herman Cain. Never been in politics. Successful businessman. Brought the House down with his historic speech. ” I want America to be a shining light on the hill again.” (Pres. Reagan ) ”Secure the borders.” ” Enforce the present laws.” ” Stop giving money to our enemies.”…..” Peace thru strength” “( Reagan) ” Recognize our friend , Israel” :” I believe in the Second Amendment.”…….. ” Live free, or DIE.” Best one liner. ” If you support me, I now ask for your vote.. If you support Mitt Romney , I now ask you to reconsider.” ( laughter and applause. Most inspiring speech of the day , judging by the fact that he was given the only STANDING ovation of the day. After meeting with him in the back room of Bartlett House, I invited him to Salem on behalf of the Salem Chamber of Commerce. Stay tuned. Last, but not least, Michelle Bachman. READ her speech. Never saw her so bad. Used to be dynamic and powerful. Looks and sounds tired. ” Make NH a right to work state.” got her applause and boo’s from the Gallery. I was disappointed in her. On to the primaries.
The Two Left
The Two Left
As we head for the Gov. Perry Dinner in Manchester this October, it looks like the final two candidates slugging it out will be “ cool man” Romney vs. “ Hot Man “ Perry. or, as he said to the little girl when she asked him who his favorite comic book hero was , said: “ just call me Superman.” Whether he is or not, he certainly has climbed in the polls with voters switching to him “faster than a speeding bullet.” Leading in some cases by 20% over Romney. How is this possible? We could answer by saying its a process of super speed elimination:. i.e. Palin just wants to sell books and raise funds for who, I don’t know. Bachmann, formerly 3rd choice, has deserted Windham, and the rest of NH. since she saw her best team disintegrate this past week. Newt, “the brightest of the bunch “say all the experts, has put his own large foot into his own loud mouth and disappointed millions of his fans, including moi. Ron Paul, the college crowd darling, is still sharp as a tack, yet can’t break through into the magic top pier of candidates. Too bad. As for Mr. Cain, eloquent speaker, smart as a whip, wealthy businessman, but ..uh, …does he remind you of anyone?? And finally, a really strong, smart, handsome, wealthy, intellectual man who speaks fluent Chinese, former Gov. of Nevada, former Ambassador to China, and a man who would make a great President especially in dealing with China, …except for one thing…..Nobody is voting for him. Why is that??
So, what’s happening in all of this. I’ve said it to anyone who will listen, and I’ll say it again. The 2012 election will be between two extremes. Nobody is going to be able to sit “in the middle” as Romney claims. President Obama and his administration has taken us so far left into Socialism, into “open borders” where millions of illegals have flooded in the help him get re-elected, that it will take more than a “nice” candidate to win back our country to a Capitalistic, free market, Constitutional form of a Republic. (A Country where English speaking Whites will be a minority in 12 years.) To quote Pres. Obama’s favorite mentor, Karl Marx, “changing a government cannot be done in the usual way. It can only be done by a “ violent revolution”. To quote the famous movie line: “ I’m mad as hell , and I’m not going to take it anymore.” speaks for millions of the “silent majority”. The voters in November will be forced to choose between Socialism, ( everybody gets paid by the Government) or Capitalism, ( a man gets paid for a job well done by other individuals, that is to say the “Old Fashioned Way, ..He works for it”.) The Independents will make this decision for the Country. Not the Republicans, ( too many Republican’s In Name Only.) Not the Democrats, ( Federal and State workers and strong Unions, the 98% blacks and Spanish who voted for Obama in 2008, and of course the Hollywood Elite.) The issue will be decided by the other 50% of Americans who consider themselves to be Independents. ( those are the ones as mad as hell……..) Whoever you vote for, don’t become like the millions of cynical Americans who don’t vote at all, (treason), This is do or die time. The man who wrote the words : “these are the times that try men’s soul’s” described 2012 America perfectly when he wrote them.
How to beat Obama
How to beat Obama.
Time Pawlenty told everyone in Iowa who would listen that he was “just like all the otther candidates”, but he said he was the only who could beat Obama. Michelle Bachmann told everyone in Iowa who would listen ,WHY she was different and what she BELIEVED IN, and what America should be like for the next generation. His strategy was wrong and he’s out. Her strategy was right, and she won.
Now, we have a new candidate using the same strategy as Congresswoman Bachmann, namely, Gov. Rick Perry from the state of Texas. It’s possible Perry could beat the favorite in NH for the very same reason. Gov. Romney is a great guy, but he is not giving America what it wants to hear. The next election will be between two distinctly opposite ideas, i.e. the most socialistic government in the history of our nation, with massive government intrusion into our individual lives
because of our exploding spanish population which votes mainly Democrat, and those Independents who still believe in “Hope and Change”, …OR, …..a radical turn to the right to a re-born party of a new Ultra Conservatism, almost a third party.
This, of course, is exactly what happened in NH in the last election, when the NH voters elected 153 Ultra Conservative State Republican Representives, and 19 semi-Conservative Republican State Senators. Also elected was a Conservative U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte. who, by the way, voted against increasing the US debt limit.
NH voters now know that when you reduce a state budget deficit of almost one billion dollars, created over the past four years by “Progressive” Democrats , the radical change from overspending to “ spending what the income is”s, requires a lot of changes in programs, pay plans, and very costly pension and insurance plans. Many people have to sacrifice to do this. When you “cut” you create anger. No one wants to give up what they already have. The Unions, for example, are furious about these changes which are not only happening in NH but all across the country.
This issue alone, ( balanced budgets and cuts ) will be the third battle ground in 2012, behind the economy #1,.and jobs, jobs, jobs. #2. This election will be very close, and every single vote will count. President Obama has made this election a very divisive one by deliberately splitting the country in half over three major issues. 1. Socialism vs. Capitalism, 2. Class warfare, rich vs. poor. ( 5% of the people control 90% of the wealth, with 1% of all Americans being millionaires, while 50% of all Congressmen and Senators are millionaires. 49 % of all Americans pay no income tax because they live on $20,000 ( single) to $40,000 (married,2 children) per year, which is considered to be the “poor”. What’s wrong with this picture??? , and #3. the Religious/Racism issue, where 95% of all black people vote Democrat, and Obama always talks about his white mother, and never about his black Muslim father,(who knew that Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion), and so , partly because of his background , Pres. Obama tries to negotiate with Muslim nations, such as pakistan, our enemy, who hid Osama Bin Laden, and gave away military secrets about our Stealth bomber that crashed. I don’t know about you, but I’m one of “us”,…… white, retired, Lutheran, and have a Social Security check of $1400. a month. I’m poor. There should be no fence sitting next year, either you’re “poor”, or you’re rich. The Middle Class is dying, and by “Middle Class” I don’t mean retiree’s who make $59,000 plus benefits a year. ( call me at 893 0402 and I’ll tell you who I’m referring to.)
We may end up with one extreme party, Socialist “progressive” Democrats,or reactionary Conservatisives, unless Gov. Romney wins the Primary, which would make the “middle of the road voters” very happy. However, all that being said, the Presidential race isn’t as important as the vote for Congress and the Senate. For America to move forward, we must elect a Majority House, and a Majority Senate, both from the same Party, or we will continue to have a “Stalemate” form of Government . Unfortunately,Partisan Politics, or, “working together” is dead in Concord, and Washington D.C, as well. I, for one, would love to change that attitude in Concord.
Any registered voter in America who does not vote in the November, 2012 election is either too cynical to care either way, and at worst is a traitor to his country. Whoever said: “ These are the times that try men’s soul’s” undoubtedly had November’s election in mind when he said it.
